Jason and Gareth undergo some marvellous adventures around the world, visiting countries in different centuries. Jason learns a lot and even gets to meet Leonardo da Vinci. 

He crouches down next to Gareth in Japan and basks in glory near the cat in Egypt.

Gareth is an extraordinary cat - not all cats can talk. He also has a special white mark on his chest which differs from the rest of his body by its completely opposing shade.
