ElevenThe second book in the Winnie Years series, and the eleventh year in Winnie's life, Winnie is met by a social problem - her best friend meets a nasty girl named Gail, who loves being the boss of things and battling against other girls. When Winnie comes over to spend a bit of her holidays with Amanda, she realizes (sadly) that the Amanda that she knew was definitely not the current Amanda. She's faced by a hard decision; should she be friends with the most unpopular girl in the class, Diana, and escape the world of girls?I recommend this book especially for kids above eleven, because I'm not sure that anyone has had these impossible difficulties like Winnie. I sometimes feel kind of bored when I read this book because it's not the usual everyday life that I think Lauren tried to impose. Rating: |
